माइक्रो ब्लॉगिंग साइट ट्विटर ने आज, 25 जून को आईटी मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद का अकांउट एक घंटे के लिए ब्लॉक कर दिया। सोशल मीडिया कंपनी ट्विटर ने अमेरिकी कानून का हवाला देते हुए केंद्रीय मंत्री का ट्विटर अकाउंट ब्लॉक किया। हालांकि ट्विटर ने चेतावनी देकर एक घंटे के बाद अकाउंट को बहाल कर दिया। खुद रविशंकर प्रसाद ने यह जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि वह करीब एक घंटे तक अपने ट्विटर अकाउंट को एक्सेस नहीं कर पा रहे थे। अकाउंट एक्सेस की कोशिश करने पर यह बताया गया कि उनके अकाउंट से अमेरिका के डिजिटल मिलेनियम कॉपीराइट एक्ट का उल्लंघन हुआ है। रविशंकर प्रसाद ने अकाउंट के ब्लॉक होने और फिर एक्सेस मिलने के बाद का स्क्रीनशॉट शेयर किया है। उन्होंने ट्वीट किया, ‘दोस्तों! आज कुछ बहुत ही अनोखी बात हुई। ट्विटर ने कथित तौर पर अमेरिका के डिजिटल मिलेनियम कॉपीराइट एक्ट के उल्लंघन के कारण करीब एक घंटे तक मुझे अकाउंट को एक्सेस नहीं दिया, हालांकि बाद में इसे एक्सेस करने की अनुमति दे दी।’
