पश्चिम बंगाल की सीएम ममता बनर्जी को तगड़ा झटका लगा है। पश्चिम बंगाल में विधानसभा चुनाव के बाद हुई हिंसा की जांच सीबीआई करेगी। कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायधीश राजेश बिंदली की पीठ ने अपने फैसले में कहा कि चुनाव बाद हिंसा की जांच अदालत की निगरानी में सीबीआई करेगी। अदालत ने कहा है कि चुनाव बाद हिंसा, अस्वाभाविक मृत्यु, हत्या और रेप सहित अन्य अधिक महत्व के अपराध के मामलों की जांच सीबीआई करेगी। इससे जुड़े अन्य मामलों की जांच के लिए हाईकोर्ट ने अदालत की निगरानी में एसआईटी का गठन किया है। आईपीएस अधिकारी सुमन बाला साहू, सौमेन मित्रा और रणबीर कुमार के नेतृत्व में यह सिट गठित होगा। कोर्ट ने पश्चिम बंगाल में चुनाव के बाद की हिंसा की निष्पक्ष जांच की मांग वाली कई जनहित याचिकाओं पर यह फैसला सुनाया है।
इसके पहले हाईकोर्ट पीठ ने चुनाव के बाद हुई हिंसा के दौरान मानवाधिकारों के उल्लंघन की जांच के लिए एनएचआरसी के चेयरमैन को एक कमेटी बनाकर जांच कराने का आदेश दिया था। जांच कमेटी ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में ममता बनर्जी सरकार को दोषी मानते हुए अपनी सिफारिशों में कहा है कि दुष्कर्म और हत्या जैसे मामलों की जांच सीबीआई से कराई जाए और इन मामलों की सुनवाई बंगाल के बाहर हो। कमेटी ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में कहा है कि अन्य मामलों की जांच भी कोर्ट की निगरानी में विशेष जांच दल से कराई जाना चाहिए। मानवाधिकार आयोग की रिपोर्ट को मान्यता देते हुए हाईकोर्ट ने कहा है कि हिंसा से संबंधित मामले को सीबीआई को ट्रांसफर कर दे।
