प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने शुक्रवार को विज्ञान भवन में ‘वर्ल्ड फूड इंडिया फेस्ट 2017’ का उद्घाटन किया। इस वर्ल्ड फूड इंडिया फेस्ट में 70 देशों के प्रतिभागियों ने हिस्सा लिया। इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन खाद्य प्रसंस्करण मंत्रालय द्वारा किया गया। कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कहा, “यह फेस्ट फूड सेक्टर के विभिन्न स्टेकहोल्डर्स को साथ आने में मदद करेगा साथ ही आप कई बेहतरीन भारतीय व्यंजन का स्वाद भी ले सकेंगे। आज जीएसटी ने कई समस्याओं को खत्म कर दिया है और भारत ने इज ऑफ डूइंग बिजनेस रैकिंग में भी रेकॉर्ड जंप किया है।”
कार्यक्रम को आगे संबोधित करते हुए पीएम मोदी ने कहा, “किसान को हम अन्नदाता मानते हैं। हमारी सरकार का लक्ष्य है कि हम उनकी इनकम को आने वाले पांच सालों में दोगुना कर दें। हमारा लक्ष्य समयसीमा के तहत फूड सेक्टर को वर्ल्ड स्टैंडर्ड का बनाने का है। मेगा फूड पार्क की भी योजना हम लेकर चल रहे हैं, इसके जरिए एग्रो पोसेसिंग सेक्टर को जोड़ने की है। आलू, अनानस, सेब जैसे उत्पादों के प्रोडक्शन पर लाभ देने का भी लक्ष्य हम तय कर रहे हैं।”
पीएम मोदी ने अपने संबोधन के दौरान निवेश बंधु पोर्टल की जानकारी भी दी। पीएम मोदी ने कहा, “निवेश बंधु पोर्टल से व्यापार करने में और जानकारी पाने में मदद मिल रही है। इससे प्राइवेट सेक्टर में भी निवेश बढ़ा है। हमारी अर्थव्यवस्था तेजी से आगे बढ़ रही हो तो ग्लोबल सुपर मार्केट कंपनियों के पास इस समय भारत में निवेश करने का सबसे सही और अनुकूल अवसर है।”
70 देशों के प्रतिभागियों को संबोधित करते हुए पीएम मोदी ने आगे कहा, “इतिहास उठाकर देख लीजिए, भारत ने व्यापारियों का दिल खोलकर स्वागत किया है। स्पाइस रूट के बारे मे सब जानते हैं। भारतीय मसालों से प्रभावित होकर कोलोम्बस ने भी भारत के लिए वैकल्पिक रास्ते को खोजते हुए अमेरिका की खोज की थी।
आपकी जानकारी के लिए बता दें कि संजीव कपूर को इस इवेंट के ब्रांड एंबेसडर बनाया गया है। संजीव वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड बनाने के लिए खिचड़ी तैयार करेंगे जिसे अनाथ बच्चों में वितरित किया जाएगा साथ ही भारत की खिचड़ी को इंटरनेशनल लेवल पर फेमस करने की कोशिश की जाएगी।
