सुशांत सिंह राजपूत मौत के मामले में देश के नामीगिरामी चैनलों ने टीआरपी की होड़ में ऊलजलूल, तथ्यहीन खबरों का जोरशोर से प्रसारण किया था। लेकिन चैनलों का यह घटिया रिपोर्टिंग अब उन्हें भारी पड़ रही है। एनबीएसए यानि न्यूज ब्राडकास्टिंग स्टैंडर्ड अथारिटी ने आजतक, जी न्यूज, न्यूज24 और इंडिया टीवी जैसे चैनलों को सुशांत सिंह राजपूत प्रकरण में घटिया रिपोर्टिंग का दोषी पाया है और इसके लिए इनके संचालकों से ऑनएयर माफीनामा प्रसारित करने का निर्देश दिया है।

एनबीएसए ने आजतक चैनल को कहा है कि वह 27 अक्टूबर को रात 8 बजे माफीनामा प्रसारित करे। आजतक को एक लाख रुपये जुर्माना भी देना है।
