पश्चिम बंगाल में चुनाव के बाद हिंसा मामले में ममता बनर्जी सरकार को कलकत्ता हाई कोर्ट में एक बड़ा झटका लगा है। कलकत्ता हाई कोर्ट ने ममता बनर्जी सरकार की उस पुनर्विचार याचिका को खारिज कर दिया है, जिसमें राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग (एनएचआरसी) की टीम को पश्चिम बंगाल में आने से रोकने की मांग की गई थी। कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट की पांच न्यायाधीशों की पीठ ने इसके साथ ही मानवाधिकार आयोग को राज्य का दौरा करने और रिपोर्ट पेश करने के आदेश को बहाल रखा है। हाई कोर्ट ने आयोग के अध्यक्ष को हिंसा की जांच के लिए एक कमेटी गठित करने का भी आदेश दिया है।

इसके पहले 18 जून को कलकत्ता हाई कोर्ट की पांच सदस्यीय बेंच ने आदेश दिया था कि राज्य में चुनाव के बाद हुई हिंसा की घटना की जांच के लिए राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग की एक टीम बंगाल आकर अपनी रिपोर्ट पेश करेगी। इसके साथ ही हाई कोर्ट ने ममता सरकार को जांच में सहयोग देने को कहा था। चुनाव बाद हिंसा के मामले की सुनवाई करते हुए कोर्ट ने कहा था कि पुलिस ने शिकायत दर्ज नहीं की। अदालत राज्य के आश्वासन पर भरोसा नहीं कर सकती है। राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग के पास 541 शिकायत दर्ज हुई है, जबकि राज्य मानवाधिकार आयोग के पास एक भी शिकायत दर्ज नहीं हुई है। कोर्ट से पूछा कि चुनाव के बाद भी हिंसा क्यों हो रही है। यह चिंताजनक है।
हाई कोर्ट ने ममता सरकार को एनएचआरसी के पैनल को सभी जरूरी सुविधाएं मुहैया कराने का आदेश दिया है। कोर्ट ने यह भी कहा है कि इसमें किसी तरह की बाधा नहीं होनी चाहिए, अन्यथा कोर्ट की अवमानना की कार्रवाई का सामना करना पड़ेगा। सोशल मीडिया पर ये मामला चर्चा का विषय बना हुआ है।
