प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी शनिवार को मिजोरम और मेघालय दौरे पर हैं। यहां पीएम मोदी ने तुइरियाल हाइड्रोपावर प्रोजेक्ट का उद्घाटन किया। हाइड्रोपावर प्रोजेक्ट के उद्घाटन के मौके पर एक जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए पीएम मोदी ने कहा, “आपको अपने विकास के लिए दिल्ली जाने की जरूरत नहीं है, बल्कि दिल्ली के लोग खुद आपके पास आएंगे। हमने ऐसी ही एक नीति बनाई है, जिसे एक मंत्रालय का रूप दिया गया है। हमने मंत्रालय को DONER नाम दिया है यानी उत्तर-पूर्वी क्षेत्र विकास मंत्रालय।
पीएम मोदी ने जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए आगे कहा, “तुइरियाल हाइड्रोपावर प्रोजेक्ट केंद्र सरकार की तरफ से सौंपा गया पहला सबसे बड़ा प्रोजेक्ट है। पीएम ने यह भी कहा कि मिजोरम के युवाओं में फुटबॉल का टैलेंट है और यह अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर उनकी पहचान बन सकती है।” आपकी जानकारी के लिए बता दें कि प्रधानमंत्री बनने के बाद पीएम मोदी का मिजोरम का यह पहला दौरा है।
